BBC Scotland has decided to ignore the booing from members of the Tartan Army during the Minute of Applause ahead of last night’s match against Ukraine.
Celtic fans have been in the firing line over the last week for their reaction to the death of a 96-year-old with the SFA on egg-shells ahead of last night’s Nations League tie.
Ian Maxwell left the explanation for the Minute of Applause to Steve Clarke with the negative reaction predicted by many. Had they expected 100% compliance the SFA would have gone for the traditional Minute’s Silence.
Across social media there was plenty of reaction to the booing with most newspapers also on the case.
BBC Scotland’s morning gossip round-up managed to avoid any reference to the issue, they picked up on 10 stories with the first two coming from on-message Ibrox fansite The Rangers Review.

Probably the loudest booing that we’ve seen in the UK over the last couple of weeks for the Queen, at Hampden before Scotland v Ukraine.
