Kilmarnock are investigating a video clip that ‘appears’ to show Kyle Lafferty using sectarian language.
The former Ibrox striker has had regular problems with social media with some pictures sent on a matchday infuriating Steven Gerrard with his two year contract cut short.
Footballers know that any camera-phone incident can land them in hot water but that didn’t appear to bother Lafferty as he reacted to a playful ‘Up the Celts’ comment.
Since walking away from Rangers when they went into liquidation in the summer of 2012 big Laff has had a nomadic career with Kilmarnock his 11th club in the last decade.
After helping the Ayrshire side to promotion the veteran striker was given a new contract but has yet to score in the SPFL Premiership.

After a video clip from Tannadice in 1989 reappeared this week Ally McCoist and Graeme Souness are unlikely to comment on Lafferty’s latest exploits.
