Since Wednesday’s match in Poland there has been something of a pile-on attacking Celtic supporters.

Strangely enough many fans on Twitter are quite pleased at the ‘calibre’ of the critics, it is hardly likely than any of them will be shortlisted for any Nobel prizes in the coming years.

They all seem to come from predictable backgrounds with few known to have an interest in football unless it is to point score and gain credibility on the back of the death of a 96-year-old woman.

Simon Jordan does have a football connection- he drove Crystal Palace into administration but fortunately they achieved a CVA with Steve Parish steering the club to the most successful times in their history. These days Jordan hangs about with Jim White sharing his business skills and football know-how. He seems particularly angered by agents making money out of football, something he has yet to master.

Piers Morgan was sacked as editor of the Daily Mirror in 2004 for publishing fake pictures of Iraqi prisoners being abused by British soldiers. Since then he has made a career for himself, much like Jeremy Kyle whose ITV show was taken off air after guests committed suicide.
