Napoli fans are still expected in Glasgow tomorrow despite UEFA’s decision to ban away fans from the rescheduled matches.
In a bid to show that their club has been impacted by the death of a 96-year-old monarch the Ibrox Tribute Act have been appealing to UEFA to get the match put back a few weeks.
UEFA’s only concession has been to delay the match 24 hours with the unexplained decision to ban away supporters from Wednesday’s match.
Thousands of Borussia Dortmund fans will be at Manchester City tomorrow, likewise with Ajax at Anfield.
With two days notice of the fan ban many Napoli supporters will be in Glasgow with no obvious place to go at match-time.
Potential dangerous situation in Rangers-Napoli:
away fans section will be closed due to shortage of police resources occupied in the Queen’s mourning events;
but many Napoli correspondents reporting that Napoli fans (also within UK) are already travelling to Glasgow

On Wednesday many city centre pubs will be showing Celtic’s early kick off match away to Shakhtar Donetsk. With Napoli fans in town and crowds heading to Ibrox for an 8pm kick-off there could well be security issues in the city.
What Ibrokes factor / Ibrokes crowd…. Either your for the monarchy and royalty or not – and these ‘people’ have demanded every man, woman and child in the universe stop everything bar breathing for 10 days – yet they’re gonna sing their hearts out for 90 minutes while allegedly broken hearted and grieving…
I suspect they’ll Jack the Billy Boys etc outta ‘respect’ but give it laldy with the new anthem for Charles the Turd and Napoli on the field of play will have them very hushed and very quickly !
It’s unbelievable the amount of crap the rangees pull. You don’t hear any other club in the UK who are playing on Tuesday and Wednesday complaining. Total BS. They are going to suffer with no fans at the return fixture in Italy. They are bricking it, they know they can be beaten heavily by any team so they cry about this and that. Disgrace to British football.
I’m sure the pubs in the east end will look after Napoli fans
The Queen is a most honourable and dignified person – until it comes to paying your Tax Bills!!
