Napoli fans are still expected in Glasgow tomorrow despite UEFA’s decision to ban away fans from the rescheduled matches.
In a bid to show that their club has been impacted by the death of a 96-year-old monarch the Ibrox Tribute Act have been appealing to UEFA to get the match put back a few weeks.
UEFA’s only concession has been to delay the match 24 hours with the unexplained decision to ban away supporters from Wednesday’s match.
Thousands of Borussia Dortmund fans will be at Manchester City tomorrow, likewise with Ajax at Anfield.
With two days notice of the fan ban many Napoli supporters will be in Glasgow with no obvious place to go at match-time.
Potential dangerous situation in Rangers-Napoli:
away fans section will be closed due to shortage of police resources occupied in the Queen’s mourning events;
but many Napoli correspondents reporting that Napoli fans (also within UK) are already travelling to Glasgow

On Wednesday many city centre pubs will be showing Celtic’s early kick off match away to Shakhtar Donetsk. With Napoli fans in town and crowds heading to Ibrox for an 8pm kick-off there could well be security issues in the city.
