Just when it seemed that the news cycle had run its course Moral Crusaders have been given fresh material to be outraged over.

No-marks ranging from Ally McCoist and Graeme Souness through to Kaye Burley and Ian Blackford spent most of last week expressing their revulsion at Celtic fas singing ‘If you hate the Royal Family clap your hands’.

On a daily basis they were paraded on various outlets, as son as they had expressed their disgust newspaper/website picked up on their quotes, sharing them to a bigger audience.

As well as being beaten on the pitch last night in Milan, resulting in relegation in the Nations League, England fans dragged their tawdry country further into the gutter as they chanted their hatred of The Pope.

McCoist and Souness will be very familiar with the chants having spent years on the Ibrox payroll, celebrating and congratulating the vile support who allowed their club to die in 2012 after refusing to honour tax debts to Her Majesty.

James Whale might want to give Dave Murray a call for his thoughts on the chants about the Pope, for over 20 years he tolerated and encouraged them at Ibrox with Donald Findlay as vice-chairman and players such as Bob Malcolm, Kyle Lafferty and Grant Adam looked after.

On Monday England fans get another opportunity to show off their racism and hatred when Germany visit Wembley, after that they will travel to Qatar where they may find the hosts a little less tolerant of their vile behaviour.
