Sead Haksabanovic is the latest name to be added to Celtic’s growing injury list.

The winger had to be replaced after half an hour of Montenegro’s defeat from Finland last night with his side reduced to 10 men after just 17 minutes.

Celtic signed Haksabanovic on a five year contract from Rubin Kazan towards the end of the transfer window with the 23-year-old able to play in any of the forward positions.

Covering the match, Vijesti Sport reports:

Sead Haksabanovic complains for the second time about an injury to the foot of his left leg and cannot continue.

Driton Camaj replaces him, and Aleksandar Scekic enters instead of captain Stevan Jovetic.

Haksabanovic should be back in Scotland today with Celtic’s medical team able to assess the injury after getting a report through last night.

Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt were unable to report for international duty with David Turnbull returned to Celtic after missing Scotland’s 3-0 win over Ukraine.

Giorgos Giakoumakis appears to be a doubt for Greece in their match against Northern Ireland tonight with Daizen Maeda missing a training session for Japan yesterday although that could just be a precaution.

Ange Postecoglou will have a few problems to contend with but the picture should be clearer on Wednesday morning with the final batch of internationals being played tonight.
