Ange Postecoglou will start the Glasgow derby with the same side that started against Dundee United last Sunday.

Liel Abada gets the vote ahead of Daizen Maeda to start on the wing with that position the biggest decision for the Celtic boss to make.

Postecoglou made nine changes for League Cup tie against Ross County but was always going to revert back to the side that scored nine at Tannadice for the base of today’s team.

A win would put Celtic five points clear at the top of the table with Postecoglou certain to call on a very strong looking bench that has Giorgos Giakoumakis available after missing the win over Dundee United.

Steve Davis makes a rare start for Giovanni van Bronckhorst, playing in the centre alongside John Lundstram and Glen Kamara, the Ibrox boss is without the injured trio of Tom Lawrence, Ban Davies and John Souttar.

Nick Walsh will referee today’s match, in his day job he is a PE teacher in Bearsden.

CELTIC: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Hatate, O’Riley; Abada, Kyogo, Jota

SUBS: Siegrist, Jenz, Giakoumakis, Haksabanovic, Mooy, Turnbull, Maeda, Forrest, Ralston
