Celtic appear to have completed all of the formalities to sign Oliver Abildgaard with just the social media arrangements to be ticked off.
Ange Postecoglou didn’t deny Celtic’s interest in the Danish midfielder when he spoke to the media following the League Cup win over Ross County.
This morning Fabrizio Romano and Anthony Joseph both tweeted that the deal was making progress with Football Scotland updating developments just before 2pm today.

Mark Hendry has been a reliable source of Celtic transfer news since he was first to announce interest in Alexandro Bernabei in June. It appears that he has found someone very close to the club hierarchy to confirm or deny stories.
As recently as last week Abildgaard looked to be on his way to Anderlecht but it now looks like he will be in Celtic’s Champions League squad.
Aaron Mooy has been the only midfielder signed this summer, now it seems like the Rubin Kazan connection is about to provide Postecoglou with another boost.
