Celtic will play in front of a full house of 47,000 when they take on RB Leipzig on October 5.

The hoops have been given an allocation of 2,300 tickets but there could be twice that number of fans in the Red Bull Arena cheering on Ange Postecoglou’s side.

With known groups of Celtic fans in Dortmund and St Pauli (Hamburg) it is likely that some of the tickets that were on public sale will have been bought up by hoops supporters.

The double header against the German side will be pivotal to Celtic’s hopes of making progress on their return to the Champions League.

After two sets of fixtures it looks like Real Madrid will top the group, a situation that they can virtually confirm if they win both matches against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Celtic’s point away to Shakhtar should give them an edge over the Ukrainian side in the head-to-head matches, if they can get the better of RB Leipzig they will be in a strong position to advance towards the knock-out stage.

Ticket allocation is more than we get for away games in spl with some stadiums sacrificing atmosphere spl or sfa has to get our stadiums full these clubs are getting subsided for leaving thousands of seats empty what image is that for our future sponsors no one should be locked out of football when parks are empty what do you think can be done

      Hello Jack,
You really need to take a little time to read your comment before posting. Some of the words used do not make any sense whatsoever, possibly due to a spell checker ? There is no sentences or punctuation at all ? I am not having a go you in particular, I just find so many of the comments on CNN website to be almost unreadable.
