‘Twice Ange has embarrassed Gio’ ‘they have a better team’ ‘they have a better squad’ Loyal Bear confesses

The delusions created by their bizarre Behind Closed Doors title success seems to be finally wearing off even the most loyal of bears.

James Tavernier and Connor Goldson are the same liabilities that they have always been, Ryan Kent produces step-overs and little else in a team that is virtually devoid of flair and creativity.

With Celtic again under proper management, a man with a plan, the landscape has been transformed.

From January, after his second transfer window, Ange Postecoglou turned a six point deficit into a four point title winning lead.

Over the summer bears have been clutching at straws. Apparently Celtic haven’t strengthened their first XI and while they were rattling in goals for fun domestically they had yet to be challenged.

After the Glasgow derby that still holds true, Aberdeen and Hearts put up a better challenge at Celtic Park. Bears are realising that when the hype and spin is stripped away their squad is nothing to be excited about. And there is a reason that van Bronckhorst was out of football for a year before replacing Steven Gerrard last November.

Bear 1:

I’ve always maintained that we have a better team, a better squad. We don’t. Today has opened my eyes to the fact that we don’t, they have a better team, they have a better squad.

They are better coached, we are going to struggle to keep up with them this season, Kerr. Maybe I’m over reacting, maybe it is just the anger from today’s performance but that is twice that Ange has embarrassed Gio. They won the league at a canter last season and to me right now, from where I’m sitting this very second, it looks to me like they are going to win the league at a canter again.
