Giovani van Bronckhorst has confirmed that Tom Lawrence will miss Saturday’s Glasgow derby with the midfielder out for a few weeks.
That timeline will cover matches against Ajax, Aberdeen and Napoli as well as tomorrow’s derby clash.
Lawrence recently scored in three successive matches, alongside Antonio Colak he is the only summer signing to have made a positive impact on the squad.
?? GVB: Lawrence is not available for tomorrow, he will be out for a few weeks.
Very excited for the game tomorrow, a big game and we are ready for the task.
We are ready for the challenge we face.

John Lundstam and Glen Kamara look certain to line up in midfield with Steve Davis, Ryan Jack or Scott Arfield likely to take over from Lawrence.
The former Derby County man suffered a knee injury late on against Ross County last Saturday but played on till the final whistle. Over the last few days there has been claims on social media that he could be out for a couple of months.
Ben Davies and Sicknote Souttar are also out of tomorrow’s match with Filip Helander and Kemar Roofe still to make a squad this season.
?? GVB: Alfredo (Morelos) is in the squad for tomorrow.
I had a good chat with him, he understood the message and has been training very hard – he is an important player for us.
Alfredo is a player who can change games.
