Trying to console his fellow bears McFarlane claimed:
Celtic aren’t as good as the teams that we’ve played in Europe, Celtic aren’t as good as PSV. I think that it is the way that they play.

I really feel sorry for genuine reporters out there who can’t find a job in journalism these days ,due to the current climate we are living through . It really tells us volumes of truth ,when organisations like Newsquest ,decide that it is acceptable to employ cowboys like McFarlane and pay him for his inadequacies ! If this latter day John Wayne is part of the future of journalism in this country, it’s no wonder nobody buys its products any more .
