Watch the fury of the Ibrox vloggers

In less than a month Giovanni van Bronckhorst has managed to turn most Ibrox fans against almost their entire squad.

A second hammering in seven months against Celtic reminded loyal bears how fragile their team is while they watch Celtic improving on almost a weekly basis.

The jokes about Ange Postecoglou have dried up, they watched their own side getting battered- treated like Kilmarnock or Ross County when facing the hoops.

Europe was their last salvation, last season’s freakish run to Seville convinced most bears that the wee guy in the dug-out had the recipe for success even if he struggled against the bruisers of Ross County, Motherwell and Dundee United.

That delusion was smashed to pieces in Amsterdam- 4-0 against a team that was being rebuilt, that lost their star striker to Manchester United in the final days of the summer window,

Denial is now over with, the knives are out for van Bronckhorst. The grim football, the horrendous transfers, the ageing squad were now up for discussion. Napoli added to their grim reality.

The wee guy in the dug-out requires a miracle to turn this around, he used one up getting to Seville only to lose to the 10th best team in Germany.

Dick Advocaat and Alex McLeish only had the Daily Record hotline and the Radio Clyde phone-in to worry about, any other form of criticism was easily suppressed by Dave Murray.

Now the vloggers are in revolt, even the middle-aged, middle class bears from Bearsden are sick of it, they know what they are watching and how Celtic are striding away.

The players being slagged off have a fortnight out of the firing line. After that it is Hearts and Liverpool away to kick off a cruel programme ahead of the World Cup break. There could be more than a few casualties at Ibrox before they try to divert their attention to Qatar.

Joe McHugh has edited Video Celts since 2010, every day covering events in and around Scotland's most successful club.

When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement.

There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same. More than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying the ongoing successes of Celtic.
