Celtic fans put on one of the most eye-catching Pyro displays ever in Scottish football ahead of last night’s League Cup tie at Ross County.

With a capacity of just over 6,000 seats the Global Energies Stadium can quickly fill up when a flare or two is lit up.

Last night there were dozens of flares in the North Stand, behind the goal that Ben Siegrist defended in the first half as the teams came out onto the park.

The game kicked off with clouds of smoke on the pitch but they quickly cleared to reveal nine changes to the Celtic side that had beaten Dundee United 9-0 on Sunday.

The visitors scored twice in each half to progress into the quarter-final draw where they have been given an away day at Motherwell in the middle of October before the competition resumes in February with the semis and finals.
