Last night the architect of that freakish run through the Europa League was being put in an unflattering spotlight by Andrew Dickson.
The former Ibrox media star seems to have been cut adrift from the news cycle after sterling work such as arranging the infamous interview and translation for Sky Sports in January 2020.

With each passing defeat for van Bronckhorst more and more fans are pining for the days of Steven Gerrard with the double defeats from Malmo followed by Europa League defeats from Lyon and Sparta Prague conveniently overlooked.
Van Bronckhorst’s personality is almost as dull as Gerrard’s but with players like James Tavernier, Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos, Borna Barisic and Ryan Jack past the four year mark it looks like the players have checked out in advance of the inevitable departure of their manager.
