Kemar Roofe appears to have dropped completely out of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s thoughts.

The striker hasn’t played since a substitute appearance in the final of the Europa League, setting up Ryan Kent for his 88th minute sitter.

Despite regular mystic/teasing posts on Instagram there is still no sign of Roofe in the first team squad.

Earlier this month van Bronckhorst confirmed that Roofe was back in full training but he failed to make the squad at Motherwell yesterday which included Charlie McLean and Adam Devine on the substitute bench.

A reported fee of around £4m was paid to Anderlecht in the summer 2020 transfer window with Roofe believed to be the highest paid player at Ibrox alongside John Lundstram.

The fixture schedule before the World Cup break on November 12 should present the striker with opportunities to play but there is barely any mention of the 29-year-old who is under contract until May 2024.
