Reo Hatate has taken to Instagram to celebrate his stunning goal at Motherwell.
Celtic cruised through to the semi-final draw with a 4-0 victory but there as one moment above all others that supporters celebrated.
In the 60th minute with space at a premium Hatate manoeuvred Ricki Lamie out the way then rolled the ball from his right foot to his left before slipping the ball into the net with goalkeeper Liam Kelly unable to react.
The fans loved it, his team-mates celebrated with him as television viewers were left pondering what they had witnessed.
On Instagram Hatate shared three images.
Last spring Hatate admitted that he felt exhausted after stitching from the J-League to the SPFL with barely a break.
Motherwell last night was his sixth successive match following the September international break, with performances like last night the Celtic midfielder looks to be building the momentum to book a place in Japan’s World Cup squad.
