John Hartson has called out the poor journalism of the Daily Record as the Glasgow based publisher desperately chases online clicks.
With budgets slashed to the bone the Sports Desk at the Record is reduced to listening in to radio stations and podcasts hoping to find a line and spin it for all that it is worth.
Go Radio’s Football Show is a regular source of stories/clicks with Hartson, Barry Ferguson, Simon Donnelly and Craig Moore regularly on the show with their thoughts quickly resurfacing on the Record website.
A discussion about Ibrox starlet Leon King caught the attention of Mark Pirie from the Record, after he had clicked on PUBLISH the version that surfaced caught the eye of Moore who has to protect his regular income from Rangers TV.
Well said Craig.. shocking this I was on the show with Craig last night..poor journalism.

With print sales under 70,000 a day it is all about clicks and Google Analytics at the Record as they try to hang on to relevance against a tide of contempt from a street-wise audience than can join the dots together.
