One very obvious plus point from Celtic’s defeat by RB Leipzig was the form of Joe Hart.
Following last week’s match in Germany many questions were being asked about the Celtic goalkeeper after his disastrous pass led to Leipzig’s second goal.
On the back of the own goal lost to Motherwell the questions were legitimate but Hart has responded strongly in the two matches since then.
Against Leipzig he pulled off a couple of brilliant saves, notably at the start and end of the first half, and provided leadership while the match remained in the balance.
Ultimately it was another defeat and disappointment for Celtic but with characters like Hart around the club can move forward with some optimism despite the run of Champions League results.
A win tomorrow against Hibs is essential to get domestic momentum moving with two more opportunities of picking up an elusive win in the Champions League.
