‘Sack Gio now’ ‘for me his time is up’ ‘these players are bottle merchants and have been for years’ Ibrox fans explode in anger

Ibrox fans exploded in anger following the 1-1 home draw with Livingston.

Having watched Celtic win 4-3 away to Hearts the last thing that the home fans needed was to watch Joe Nouble scoring for Livingston after just four minutes.

After losing 7-1 to Liverpool Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side scraped home with single wins against Motherwell and Dundee but luck ran out on the Dutchman today.

The same old turgid style of play had the fans streaming out of Ibrox from midway through the second half.

Rabbi Matondo, welcomed in the summer as the Welsh Usain Bolt was brought on as a substitute at half-time then hooked in the 78th minute for Fashion Sakala.

That change came as Livi sub Morgan Boyes was sent off. John Lundstram equalised in the 90th minute but despite eight minutes of added time there was no further scoring with the home side booed off the park.

On Wednesday van Bronckhorst’s side are away to Napoli, they then host Aberdeen and Ajax within four days at Ibrox.
