Steven McLean was trending across Celtic twitter during and after the 6-1 win over Hibs today.
In the last domestic match before VAR comes into operation McLean reminded everyone that a referee is well capable of spoiling a match with their own interpretation of the rules.
Great to have a performance like that today. Sorely needed.

The Glasgow based referee is forever associated with the Josh Meekings handball in the 2015 Scottish Cup semi-final against Inverness Caley Thistle.
After requesting clarification of what had happened the Celtic board were reminded of a certain document from July 2012 with McLean still doing his own thing seven years later.
Ryan Porteous was allowed to do anything he liked today, following through at every opportunity then hitting the deck at any contact with McLean obliging with a free-kick every time.
Matt O’Riley picked up a yellow card early in the second half, similar fouls from Hibs players went unpunished.
In stoppage time McLean went into full panic mode as he feared the second 7-1 scoreline of the week. Alexandro Bernabei burst past two Hibs players on the edge of the penalty box, as he prepared to square the ball to a team-mate McLean decided to award a free-kick to Hibs.
At last years Celtic AGM Ian Bankier said that the club had deep concerns about Scottish referees.
Absolute bell end, there should be ref reviews after each game. So many mistakes made they get penalised some how. To many times they perform like this with next to no accountability.
