‘Sounds like a scripted vote of confidence’ ‘no voice on park’ ‘funny way of showing it’ Ibrox fans turn on Tavernier’s rallying call

James Tavernier’s rallying call in support of Giovanni van Bronckhorst didn’t go down well with Ibrox fans last night.

After six defeats in seven weeks talk is cheap with even the gullible able to tear apart Tav’s vote of confidence in his manager.

Coming on the back of another passive performance against Napoli the former Wigan ace should sort his own game out before telling fans that the manager has the backing of the dressing room. The performances suggest otherwise.

Claiming that the players had ‘full belief in his tactics’ took supporters by srprise since one of the main criticisms is that there is no shape or pattern to the way that the team plays.

Despite his pointless displays Ryan Kent seems undroppable on the left wing while Fashion Sakala, Rabbi Matondo, Scott Arfield and Scot Wright seem to be on a rota to play on the other flank.

Tomorrow at 3pm Tavernier will need to back up his soundbites or the screams for change will become overwhelming.
