Ange Postecoglou was in uncompromising form as he faced the media ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League clash against RB Leipzig.

A week after losing out in Germany the two clubs meet again with the victor moving into pole position to join Real Madrid in the knock-out stage.

Juggling fitness and injury concerns is as big a priority as tactics and training at the moment with Jota the latest worry for Celtic fans.

A morning training ground video clip by Sky Sports revealed that the former Benfica winger was missing as his team-mates trained at Lennoxtown today.

It comes down to whether we think he can play or not. With all the players, they are all important in different ways.

With the short turnaround it’s not unusual for someone not to be right the day before a game when we’ve got such a quick turnaround. It’s just about whether he’s right or not. If he’s right we’ll play him – if not he’ll miss out.

There was no detail on the injury rather than he felt sore during the win over St Johnstone before being replaced at half-time.

Although he has a number of wingers available for selection the possible loss of Jota, alongside Callum McGregor would arguably mean that Celtic go in tomorrow night without their two most important players.

On Saturday it was reported that Jota was substituted because of fatigue but his absense from training suggests that it may be something deeper.
