Celtic’s 3,000 strong travelling support put on an incredible pyro show before the Champions League match against RB Leipzig.

There was a brilliant atmosphere in the 45,000 capacity arena as the home side took full points to get off the mark in Group F.

UEFA regularly fine clubs for displays of pyro and fireworks with both sets of fans guilty last night.

On the continent there seems to be a form of ‘safe pyro’ as opposed to the traditional flares but it remains to be seen if any action is taken following last night’s match in Germany.

The away support did have one special moment to celebrate when Jota scored a 48th minute equaliser then ran over to celebrate in front of the Celtic support.

Unfortunately that was about all that there was to celebrate during the second half with the home side scoring twice to take full points from the game with a re-match on Tuesday in Glasgow.
