Celtic rediscovered their goal touch with a 6-1 win over Hibs today.

After scoring just four goals in their three previous SPFL matches the hoops looked more like their usual selves with a comfortable win to move five points clear at the top of the Premiership table.

The day belonged to James Forrest, scoring a hat-trick to become the 30th player to score 100 goals for Celtic.

The winger, starting his first game of the season opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a well placed run to the back post to connect with a cross from Sead Haksabanovic.

For the second week running Alexandro Bernabei supplied Giorgos Giakoumakis before Forrest put Celtic 3-0 in front in the 24th minute.

Hibs pulled a goal back in the 56th minute through Thody Youan but it turned out to be an early consolation with Forrest, Giakoumakis and Daizen Maeda all on target for the league leaders.
