It is good news all the way this morning for loyal bears as BBC Scotland present them with the highlights from the back pages.

Based solely on a tweet from John Percy of the Telegraph it seems that Micky Beale will soon be wearing a blazer and brogues as he is presented to the media.

First up The Sun reveals that Beale will be announced as manager on Monday with The Scotsman claiming that a £1.5m compensation package has already been agreed.

It seems that no one at BBC Scotland checked out a tweet from Jim White- a reporter even more loyal to Ibrox than Kenny Mac, Tom English, Alasdair Lamont or Jane Lewis.

White put the brakes on the Beale bus, surely there isn’t a problem paying QPR compensation while matching the wage demands and transfer budget expectations of the Number 1 target?
