Celtic have announced ‘the final drop’ of 2022 with the launch of a new black training kit.
The club has been quite prolific with training kits this season, clearly there is a market for it with today’s launch bound to feature in a few Christmas lists.
Celtic’s playing kit has been a bit patchy this season which is an accurate description of the traditional hoops, up close it looks a little strange but watching from the stands or on television it is a bold, strong shade of green.
The mainly black away shirt with green and white pinstripes has been very well received but the least that is said about the silver/grey or ‘St Mirren’ kit the better. If it surfaces again it will be something of a surprise.

On October 26 Footy Headlines reported:
We have interesting kit news, as Celtic FC will apparently receive a new 2022-2023 fourth kit. It is made by Adidas and will be worn in the current Scottish Premiership season.
Footy Headlines rarely get things wrong when it comes to anything kit related but it seems that the fourth kit isn’t about to become a reality. Whatever may have been in the design stage is likely to be held back for the 23/24 season.
Hops Home top should’ve had three green/gold stripes on shoulder. Grey is just …. not a Celtic colour! Neither is black. So, I’ll be keeping my dough until they figure it out!
