As well as revolutionising training within 24 hours of replacing Giovani van Bronckhorst, Micky Beale has discovered three brand new transfer markets including the Netherlands.

It is a non-stop diet of feel good stories from the bears at Daily Record sport.

While van Bronckhorst had to make do with whatever Ross Wilson could dredge up his successor seems to have been given a blank canvas to raid the best prospects in Eredivisie and elsewhere.

As a budding player Beale spent some time with Twente before they too realised that he was crap but that stint in the last century has opened the door for Dutch starlets to get a slice of Beale Mania at Ibrox.

The new boss speaks Portuguese which has just opened up South America, well the Brazilian part anyway, as an English speaker Beale will be able to snap up the best talents from Liverpool and Chelsea but probably not from QPR.

In full on cheer-leader mode the Record announced:

It’s a big job facing Michael Beale at Rangers but judging by his first couple of days in charge, he’s not going to shy away from it.

As Record Sport reported last night, the new man in charge has already begun shaping his squad with Zak Lovelace among three youngsters called up to the first-team to make their mark. But that’s only likely to be the tip of the iceberg as he whips things into shape to try to salvage the remainder of the Scottish Premiership season.

Few clubs spend fortunes in January, with the market more limited. But Beale is certain to want to tweak his squad in the winter window so there will likely be wiggle room for signings. Even more so if contract rebels such as Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent are moved on to make room. There’s no doubt the new boss will already have a new transfer or two in mind as he looks to win the fans over fast.

Much was made of his intensive knowledge of the existing squad but connections across football would have been one of the primary reasons he was handed the reins. Having worked closely with Steven Gerrard at Liverpool and learned Portuguese to work with legendary Brazilian keeper Rogerio Ceni 5,000 miles away, he’s a well travelled coach with a formed idea of what makes a player in any part of the world. Here, Record Sport takes a look at three of the markets he could dip into in order to get things motoring.

Things might change for the new Ibrox boss when he discovers that the £4.9m transfer surplus from the summer has already been spent on paying off van Bronckhorst and compensating QPR for raiding their management team.

The Daily Record ,Scotland’s Champion does not have one scoop reporter at the biggest football tournament in the world ,the Qatar World Cup .There are many players there representing their countries who play in Scotland .,but the Record have deemed that insignificant ! Maybe it’s a money thing where it can’t afford to send a single employee to Qatar because of the rapidly dwindling daily sales . It always has decent representatives at the Rangers pre season training camps ,with 2scoops ,a photographer and a feature writer all on hand to spread the good word though ……….

They are using the English daily Mirror scoops on the cheap . There’s about 6 Mirror reporters ,but not one from the Record ! I know it’s sister papers and all that …… but cheapskate does not do the Record justice …….
