Ibrox fans seemed very reluctant to celebrate Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s first anniversary in charge of the Tribute Act.

Since the 1-1 draw at St Mirren last Saturday they had been hoping for a very different type of announcement with confidence in the Dutchman draining away game by game.

Day by day hope slipped away, when Sky Sports broadcast an interview with the Dutchman it was clear that the club couldn’t come up with the compensation needed to pay off their current manager.

Now another J-League boss (Kevin Muscatt) is appearing as the great white hope of Ibrox, having been laughed off on arrival Postecoglou could soon be squaring up to his Ibrox manager with Muscatt a former assistant to the dominant boss in Scottish football.
