Football Scotland/Daily Record/ Reach group reporter accuses Celtic of moon-howling conspiracies over VAR cover up

Mark McDougall has accused Celtic and Celtic fans of moonhowling conspiracies after Jota’s goal at Motherwell was disallowed by a dubious VAR call.

Perhaps if the Reach Group reporter questioned some of the information that he is fed sales of the Daily Record wouldn’t be falling off a cliff.

McDougall currently shares his knowledge of the game with Football Scotland which is an attempt by the Record/Reach Group to get a foothold in the digital market.

Even with print sales heading towards the 60,000 mark it is still advertising in the old school paper that is propping up digital projects like Football Scotland.

Yesterday Celtic fans questioned the VAR image used to justify the Jota decision. During the course of the day The Sun and Daily Mail both discovered that something went wrong with VAR during the Motherwell v Celtic match.

Once again the SFA have been caught out lying to Celtic over decision makers, fortunately Celtic fans now have plenty of alternatives to the Daily Record for news and information about their club.

In September 2019 McDougall tipped Celtic for a 4-0 hammering at Ibrox, Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes had other ideas.
