Ibrox AGM announced as they bury it in World Cup knock out matches

The much awaited Ibrox AGM will be held on Tuesday December 6.

Two World Cup last 16 matches will be played on that date but it will be difficult to deflect attention towards Qatar.

Despite leaks of bumper turnover there is still no sign of the club accounts to 30 June 2022. In their accounts for the previous year the club posted losses of £21.5m.

The return of fans, nine lucrative European home matches and fees for Nathan Patterson and Mister Gerrard should go a long way to wiping out the losses of the previous season but a pay-out to Sports Direct and repaying Mister King’s loan with interest could account for £20m or more flying out the door.

A more pressing issue for bears is the performance of Giovanni van Bronckhorst backed by Transfer Guru Ross Wilson.

A place in the Champions League record book alongside a seven point gap with Celtic has resulted in an explosion of anger online.

Lots of promises will be made on Social Media about challenging the board and calling out their failings but a few jokes about Celtic should be enough to take the sting out of William, Stewarty, Rossco and Gordy before they return to their keyboards.

Who will replace van Bronckhorst at Ibrox?

Wee Davie has the class and dignity for it

Robbie is the man, good European experience

Mister Gerrard- the Prodigal Returns
