Jonah Ayunga has hit out at the Kevin Clancy/Andrew Dallas double act that denied St Mirren full points on Saturday.

The big striker opened the scoring early in the second half but from that moment virtually every decision went the way of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.

Virtually no free-kicks were awarded to the homeside with the succession of marginal decisions leading to a penalty when play should have been stopped for a foul earlier in the build up.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Ayunga said:

I’m happy with a point but we feel it could be more if we had just held on. It’s still a good result in the end. It didn’t feel like 11 vs 11 after 60 minutes. They were getting every decision, every 50-50.

That contributes to you feeling under pressure and there’s only so long you can keep repelling attacks without getting anything [from the referee].

It felt like it was coming towards the end, but some of the decisions didn’t help. Before the penalty there’s a foul on Mark O’Hara in their half that doesn’t get given and you think VAR will check that whole phase. I don’t think they did. It’s frustrating.

Saturday’s point leaves St Mirren in joint 5th/6th/7th place on 21 points from 15 matches alongside Hearts and St Johnstone.

Clancy and Dallas will be watching the World Cup Finals on television.

What! No invitations dropping through the latter-boxes of Scottish Referees for the World Cup? They must be feeling very left-out. There haven’t been any since as far back as I can remember!

its not because they are not bad refs its because they are corrupt can’t be trusted as quite a few world cup teams are not the same faith as them as in scotland as celtic find every week we play our football.

My worry is that the £55m (January) transfer kitty Gio now has will allow them to keep hold of their amazing superstars Kent, Morelos, Jack, McGregor oh and Arfield…..

Kenny (Used to Be A Hun, Still is) Miller on SSB last night telling the world that Sevco went undefeated, domestically, season 2020/21. I seem to remember they never won two of the three trophies! Still, if it sounds all right to say it and nobody questions it, then … not ? Wharahelleh?

The team from Ibrox have cheated every team in Scotland for years and years. With their collusion with the refereeing organisation .
