Like all Celtic fans Moussa Dembele lapped up every minute of the action from Ibrox.

The pre-match promises of Giovanni van Bronckhorst fell flat as they lost 3-1 to Ajax to go into the history books as the worst ever team to play in the Champions League.

Ajax had lost all four group stage matches since beating the Ibrox mob 4-0 on Matchday 1, tonight they found themselves 2-0 in front after half an hour then cruised through the rest of the match.

James Tavpen pulled a goal back in the 87th minute but within a minute of that goal Ajax ran up the park to make it 3-1 and empty the remaining home fans out of Ibrox.

Over six matches the Ibrox men have a goal difference of 2-22, the worst ever in the Champions League, taking an 11 year old record held by Dinamo Zagreb.

Against Manchester City in 2016 Dembele scored twice in 90 minutes, over six matches van Brockhorst’s side managed to equal that total.
