A week ago Kenny McLean was being touted for a dream move to his beloved Ibrox.
At the age of 30 there are a few more years left in the Scotland midfielder but he has put paid to the rumours by signing an extended contract keeping him with Norwich until at least 2025.
The teenage McLean was released by the old Ibrox club, like Lewis Morgan he celebrated his escape from Murray Park by breaking through with the Paisley side.
A move to Aberdeen followed in 2015, there was regular speculation about a move to Ibrox but while Ryan Jack got that transfer McLean left for Norwich in 2018 where he has been a team-mate of Teemu Pukki during the yo-yo years.
With his contract running out in six months the midfielder could have ran things down for a dream move, instead he has committed himself to Norwich and remaining a very long distance fan of the Ibrox Tribute Act.
Four more years!

So Ibrox.staunch/potless.uk, wanted him for nought on a pre contract. Delia emailed him saying signing for them is a recipe for disaster, better stay home and enjoy Mama D’s pocket money- lots more than Ipox wages- and do some coaching on the side.
What a shame the new footy
Klub missed out on that diamond…loads of unlocked potential from that halfwit kok head, although maybe the old timers-davis/gregs could have thought the kok head a Gick or two..!!
All these special guest star appearances from yesteryear men who have played for the zombie klub or who wanted to play for the new klub.
I’m surprised they haven’t called on BOOZE JOCKEYS like Gordin Dalziel and Bobby Russell.
Sevco no longer has that attraction that mesmerised so many.
The paint is peeling, the shine has dulled, corridors unswept and dust on the shelves.
sevco are bust in all but name, when the donations and loans stop, financial sense lights up the building their true level will become apparent.
An alkie, penniless uncle everyone avoids at weddings. Look at their demographic support, it is aging.
Sevco could’ve done with his goals! About three in a hundred and a fifty games for Aberdeen!
Add that force to the potency of Kent, Davis and Alfie and you’ve got the makings of a Goal Machine in the boiler room there! However, we’ll never know! What a pity!
McLean? Yes, I had a bath this morning!
