Celtic are in line for three doses of Willie Collum as the SFA resources are stretched by the introduction of VAR.

On Sunday the Lanarkshire based official was in charge of the match away to Livingston, this Saturday he will sit in the VAR studio instructing David Dickinson before getting the boots and whistle out for next Wednesday’s match away to Motherwell. David Munro will be on VAR duty at Fir Park.

The game with Livingston was Collum’s first Celtic SPFL fixture of the season, he did take charge of the League Cup tie away to Ross County.

Before Saturday’s match the SFA will have the embarrassing situation of Tony Watt’s red card to deal with.

Against Motherwell on Saturday John Beaton saw nothing wrong with a challenge that Sean Goss of Motherwell decided to fall down for. After being summoned to the VAR monitor Beaton produced a red card which United are appealing with no contact between the players and Watt pulling out of the challenge.
