TalkSPORT are reporting that an official approach will be made to QPR to discuss the Ibrox vacancy with Michael Beale.
Since the QPR boss was an official guest of his old club at last month’s match against Aberdeen it would be incredible if he hasn’t encouraged the move to make an official approach.
Beale left his job as number two to Steven Gerrard a year ago then jumped ship to join QPR in the summer. In 22 matches in charge his side has won nine, drawn five and lost eight, currently they are in seventh place in the Championship.

After losing to Birmingham on the Friday night Beale turned down the chance to watch Championship opponents in order to make a high profile visit to Ibrox.
Visiting the Louden Tavern and chatting to Connor Goldson in the Directors Box made it very clear that he wanted to be noticed.
Should he take the job on he will find many of the same problems that he encoutered before moving to Aston Villa but with many players nearing the end of their contracts and less motivated that they were previously.
