Sead Haksabanovic and Tony Ralston will miss Monday’s Glasgow derby at Ibrox.

Both men would have been involved in the matchday squad but will have to sit the match out alongside Stephen Welsh.

Ralston started the matches against Aberdeen and Livingston but suffered a back injury against David Martindale’s which has ruled him out with Reo Hatate filling in at right-back.

Sead Haksabanovic will probably miss Monday. We had it scanned, it is nothing serious but again he is a bit frustrated. He has been training but not at 100% so we’re going to give it a chance to get up and running so hopefully just miss this game.

Tony Ralston is still a bit sore so he’ll miss Monday as well. Welshy and McCarthy are the longer term ones, they are the only others that won’t be available.

Josip Juranovic looks the likely choice to play at right-back, his first club appearance since going off to the World Cup in mid-November.

Hatate’s move back into midfield leaves Postecoglou with four options for three places.

Haksabanovic is a very direct option but away to Hibs on Wednesday Postecoglou was still able to bring Jota, James Forrest and Roco Vata off the bench to demonstrate the full depth of the squad.

Celtic are still waiting on confirmation that Alistair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi will be eligible for selection for Monday’s match.
