Michael Beale has opened the door to adding to his backroom staff.

The former QPR boss brought three coaches from Loftus Road but will soon be adding to his staff with most of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s squad being eased out the door.

The Dutchman resisted the need to bring in a ‘Real Rainjurz’ man but as results went downhill Barry Ferguson, Neil McCann and Kevin Thomson raised their heads with media cheerleaders quickly on the case.

Managing Dundee, Alloa or Kelty Hearts doesn’t seem the strongest of credentials but picking up on Beale’s interview with Sky Sports, The Herald reports:

There will be more to come. There will be one or two more additions in the coming weeks which will be important as well in the support staff because a lot of staff left.

There has been a lot of change in the club in the last two years with Steven and myself and Gary and that staff leaving after a hugely emotional period. And that has just happened again.

Sportsound on BBC Scotland on Saturday afternoon are planning a Beale spectacular with Kenny Macintyre all over a good news story from Ibrox.
