Beale reveals his big contract tease- Real Madrid and Manchester City are gutted

Ianis Hagi has been revealed as the name behind yesterday’s Micky Beale contract tease.

The Romanian wonderkid has been heavily linked with a number of massive clubs by pundits in his homeland but has committed himself to staying with the Tribute Act for an unspecified number of years.

Hagi started 15 SPFL Premiership matches last season before being crocked against Stirling Albion in January, his return date is also unspecified.

The midfielder was already under contract until May 2024 but now appears to have added a year or two onto that deal while Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Filip Helander, Ryan Jack, Steve Davis, Scott Arfield and Allan McGregor are free to sign pre-contract deals elsewhere in three weeks time.

John Lundstram and Kemar Roofe are under contract until May 2024 with John Souttar on a deal till 2027.
