Benedito Mambuene Mukendi is being lined up for the first step of the Beale Revolution.
The 20-year-old Angolan starlet is currently playing in the second tier of Portuguese football but is being watched by ‘several top European clubs’ including Braga.
Since Beale once had a coaching job in Brazil it gives licence to link every starlet in South America and Portugal with a dream move to Ibrox with ‘Ben’ tipped to slot into a dream midfield alongside John Lundstram and Ryan Jack.
After spending the summer windfall on paying off Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s management team it seems that Ross Wilson is targeting the starlet market and trusting the coaching brilliance of Mister Beale.
RANGERS are interested in a £500k move for Angolan starlet Benedito Mambuene Mukendi.
The 20-year-old midfielder currently plays in Portugal’s second tier for Trofense, and is considered one of the most promising players in the league.
Born in Angola’s capital Luanda, he arrived in Portugal just two years ago, and has spent the last three seasons raising eyebrows, especially in cup competitions.
Nicknamed “Beni”, his contract is up next summer and Rangers join several top European sides in casting their eye over the player.
Portuguese giants Braga are also considering making a move having monitored him in the second-tier division for some time.
Yet the Light Blues are believed to be preparing a serious January bid for the youngster to scare off any other potential suitors.
