Over the last 18 months Dan Orlowitz has become a very trusted source of information for Celtic fans.

In early summer 2021 he briefed supporters what to expect from Ange-ball, putting life and examples onto the cold details surrounding the manager about to utterly transform every aspect of Celtic’s play.

Tomoki Iwata becomes the sixth player to move directly from the J-League to Celtic, following Postecoglou and Daizen Maeda from Yokohama F Marinos to the SPFL.

For a combined cost of less than £10m Celtic have acquired three of their last four goalscorers, Yuki Kobayasji is awaiting the formal completion of his move with only Yosuke Ideguchi failing to make the desired impact.

It seems strange that Celtic can sign the Japanese Player of the Year on an initial loan basis with a guaranteed permanent move following in the summer.

Yokohama seems to be developing into a Celtic feeder club, it probably won’t be too long before Orlowitz is being questioned about the next J-League prospect on their way to Celtic.

Don’t see any problem with having a feeder club why do you think City Group own clubs on every continent…..it’s just big business these days football like everything else these days has to make money to grow or fail & get LIQUIDATED, hahaha!

For me it works well, Ange brings in those that he knows. As he looks to the market he will see what is nearer. Building a formidable team is not easy, building a Club that meets the same is harder.
