On November 12 he was described as a wee prick as Steely streamed his own abuse straight after the final whistle in the 1-1 draw away to St Mirren.

Sadly it was to be Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s final match in charge of the tribute act, nine days later it was announced that he had been sacked.

Steely let it all go at the final whistle against St Mirren, a few miles up the road he turned into a gushing fan boy as he met Mister van Bronckhorst at Glasgow Airport, thanking him for all of those unbelievable memories he’s provided over the last 12 months!
