There was just one concern for Celtic fans to emerge from last night’s 4-0 win over Hibs- the sight of Greg Taylor being substituted with what seemed like a problem in his right thigh.

The former Kilmarnock defender had delivered another confidence performance, sure at the back and imposing in attack. Taking two opponents with him as he provided a distraction as Daizen Maeda prepared for Celtic’s second goal.

Celtic have been relatively free of injuries this season allowing Taylor to develop his game and even get on the scoresheet in successive away matches.

After Kyogo Furuhashi scored the fourth goal last night Taylor went down, there seemed to be an issue with his right thigh with Alexandro Bernabei sent on with Ange Postecoglou taking no chances.

With Ibrox beckoning every move by the players is analysed, after the win Taylor seemed oblivious to worries about his fitness as he took to Instagram.

‘Ready for Monday’ sounds as close as you’ll get on social media to the player having no concerns about their injury.
