Real Sociedad are reported to be showing interest in a January move for Josip Juranovic.
The defender joined Celtic in August 2021 from Legia Warsaw in a deal reported to be around £2.5m, if a couple of clubs are showing interest Celtic will be hoping that a bidding war breaks out with Alistair Johnston signed last week for £3m from Montreal CF.
Juranovic is preparing to play for Croatia against Brazil on Friday in the World Cup quarter-final knowing that another impressive performance is likely to bring more clubs to the table.
On Wednesday night The Sun reported:
ATLETICO MADRID are set to scout Josip Juranovic against Brazil as they eye a £10million-plus January move.
And La Liga rivals Real Sociedad have also joined the list of clubs chasing the in-demand Celtic right-back.
Juranovic hasn’t given the slightest hint that he is unhappy at Celtic where he has a contract that runs until May 2026.
The opportunity to play in one of the top five European leagues plus a salary of four or five times his Celtic deal would be hard to resist regardless of how happy and settled he is at Celtic.
Juranovic has been a late developer, playing with Hadjuk Split until 2020 when he moved to Legia Warsaw just before his 25th birthday.
