Celtic switched to their away kit for the visit of St Johnstone but looked more like their old selves in the 4-1 win.
Reo Hatate, apparently playing at right-back, and Kyogo Furuhashi both scored doubles as Celtic restored their nine point lead at the top of the SPFL Premiership.
After two stumbling single goal victories since the season resumed there was a cohesion about Celtic’s play today with a change of wingers and Kyogo regaining his sharpness around goal.

Neither scorer went on to complete his hat-trick but that won’t be causing any anxiety as the hoops completed 2022 unbeaten at home in the SPFL Premiership.
Celtic will see out the year away to Hibs on Wednesday, the Edinburgh side beat Livingston 4-0 today to set up Wednesday’s clash in front of the Sky Sports cameras- before 2023 kicks off across the city at Ibrox.
