On Saturday Ange Postecoglou was expecting a few buttons to be pressed at midnight to complete the signings of Alastair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi.
UPDATE: Without any announcement Johnston and Kobayashi are in the squad for Ibrox
Terms with the players and in the case of Johnston a transfer fee with Montreal CF had been completed with both defenders training at Lennoxtown over the last couple of weeks.
Neither Johnston or Kobayashi would be contenders to start today’s match at Ibrox but either, particularly Johnston could be a strong contender for a place on the bench.

Sky Sports: So Johnston and Kobayashi very much in your thoughts for Monday?
AP: Yeah, we’ve still got to get the international clearance so there are people poised to push buttons when the clock strikes 12. Yeah, if their clearance does come through they will definitely be available.
There was no announcement from Celtic yesterday, the final day of training before the Glasgow derby.
With a 12.30 kick off today Postecoglou’s squad will probably be leaving their hotel between 10am and 10.30.
Red tape appeals to have held up the registrations of two options for today’s match in a sort of Jim Farry type way. Yesterday Peter Lawwell took over from Ian Bankier as Celtic chairman.
Celtic will be without David Turnbull, Tony Ralston, Sead Haksabanovic and Stephen Welsh for today’s match.
