Celtic have confirmed the signing of Oh Hyeon-gyu on a five year contract.
The striker becomes Ange Postecoglou’s fourth signing of the January window with Alistair Johnston, Yuki Kobayashi and Tomoki Iwata already having first team matches under their belt.
Reports from Korea suggest that Celtic have been in talks with Suwon Bluewings since before the World Cup Finals with a fee of 3m euros agreed.

Oh travelled to Kuwait with the South Korean World Cup squad but missed out on a place as a face mask was fitted to allow Spurs striker Son Heung-min to be involved.
Postecoglou has extensively recruited from Japan but has been keen to extent Celtic’s Asian reach with Korea mentioned by the Celtic boss as another market to bring players in from.
Oh hasn’t played any competitive football since before the World Cup Finals but will be assessed by the Celtic medical team as they put him on a fitness programme to get him involved with the first team squad.
