Celtic’s home match against Hearts has been shifted back 10 days to March 8 due to the Viaplay Cup Final at Hampden on February 26.

Ange Postecoglou’s side were scheduled to meet the Edinburgh side on February 25 but the Hampden match takes priority.

Following the Hampden clash Celtic are away to St Mirren with Hearts visiting in midweek for the third clash of the season between the sides.

With Hearts clear in third place there will almost certainly be a fourth SPFL meeting between the two clubs with a trip to Tynecastle after the split one of three away matches for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

This weekend Celtic begin their third round of fixtures with a return trip to Tannadice, the scene of a 9-0 win in August that cost Jack Ross his job.

Liam Fox was in charge of United when they visited Celtic Park in November, losing out to two late goals in a 4-2 defeat best remembered for the penalty awarded against Alexandro Bernabei.
