West Ham and Crystal Palace have been linked with signing Rocco Vata from Celtic.
The 17-year-old is under contract until May 2024 with Celtic hoping to get him signed up onto a new deal.
Celtic’s Academy level players are extensively scouted with Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester City recently signing up teenagers with Celtic also losing out to Watford over Vincent Angelini with another goalkeeper, Rory Mahady moving to Leeds United.

Vata made his first team debut as a late substitute away to Hibs but missed out on the squads for the Glasgow derby and Celtic’s home win over Kilmarnock.
As the son of a former Celtic player Rocco will have a preference to stay at Celtic but a second full season playing in the fifth tier of Scottish football isn’t likely to accelerate his development.
Finding the right loan deal is a difficult task but clubs like West Ham and Crystal Palace have well established networks that can give players first team training.
